Therefore the new Mara Legends Camp was planned and built by a passionate photographer and specialist in organizing photo and film productions. Every wildlife lover will confirm that this Camp is a dream just in the heart of nature.
The Masai Mara is a 12-month destination and has the highest density of cats. The highlight is the time of the world-famous wildebeest and Zebra migration which can pass here between July and November. But The Masai Mara is a pure Safari destination all year round. Cheetahs, Leopards, and Lions are usually seen every single day. Elephant and herds of Buffalos, Topi, Elen, and other Antelopes are grazing in the plains. But also rare animals like the Serval cat or bat Ear Foxes might be seen.

- Hot air balloon safaris (bookings must be made in advance, and this is an additional cost)
Access
Masai Mara is 260 km from Nairobi and takes 5 ½ hours drive by road and 40 minutes by air.
Transfer from the airstrip to the camp takes 20 minutes.
The airstrip is serviced by:
- Safarilink – from Nairobi twice daily
- Air Kenya â from Nairobi twice daily
- Charter flights as scheduled
Climate
Mainly humid, with temperatures averaging 26°C during the day and 12°C at night. Long rains are anticipated from mid-April to May and short rains from November to early December.
